Vacancy for Research Fellowship in Transitional Justice

The School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast seeks to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Research Fellow. The post is available for three years, with a salary scale of £32,004-£41,709, based on experience.

The successful candidate will be supervised and mentored by Professor Kieran McEvoy.

S/he will work across a range of ongoing and planned transitional justice projects directed by Professor McEvoy, whilst also developing their own programme of research.

The successful candidate will be based in the flagship new QUB Law School and will enjoy access to the world-class facilities of the Graduate School.

With an honours degree and a PhD on a relevant topic, s/he will have: at least three years relevant research experience; experience of involvement in research grant writing and research project design and delivery; demonstrable knowledge of transitional justice and\or socio-legal studies; good organisational and co-ordination skills; and proven ability to write at 3* (REF 2014 criteria) level.

The closing date is 5 December 2016, with interviews anticipated in week commencing 9 January 2017.
